Question: Are there any age restrictions on hiring a van? Answer: Yes you must be between 21 and 70 and have held a full UK licence for at least 2 years. Question: What sort of identification do I need? Answer: In addition to your driving licence you must produce at least one other form of identification. This can be a current utility bill or bank statement and for those hirers without the new photo card style licence, a passport or other photographic id is required. Question: I have points on my licence is this a problem? Answer: In most cases this is not a problem, but please have the details of any endorsements available at the time of booking to enable us to assess any extra charges that may be incurred. However drivers with over 6 points or with endorsements for careless driving, no insurance or who have been disqualified previously cannot hire a vehicle. Drivers under the age of 25 require a clean licence. Question: How long is a hire period and what is included in the price? Answer: Our minimum hire period is 4 hours/half a day, this is available Monday to Friday and is NOT pre book able. Daily hires run from morning to morning (i.e. 9 30am to 9 30am) and are generally 24 hours in duration. Our prices INCLUDE; vat, insurance and breakdown cover, there is no charge for the first 200 miles you cover. Question: Are there any extra costs? Answer: If you require an additional driver there is a small charge - please contact us for further details; you must also replace the diesel that you use and an excess mileage charge applies should you go over 200 miles per day.
